mechanical costs on oil pump seal
its my sisters car again (94 accord). she took it to the mechanic to get the master cylinder changed and a couple of days later theres a lot of oil leaking from the timing belt side. is it possible for the seal to go out suddenly like that?
anyways, i dont have the proper tools or time to change it myself so we tried a new mechanic. hes charging 150 for labor and 20 for the part. is my sis getting ripped, or does this sound like a fair deal?

The first time you went did she have the oil ( front seal ) seal replaced or did she just have the master cylinder changed ? He she had the front main seal replaced and its leaking already, the mechanic did not do a good job installing it or he even might of scored the block. The priced sounds ok, labor should be 120 though and like 12 to 20 for the part.
