Maybe you guys can help
I have a few tech question
. So here goes maybe you guys can help me. I just bought a 94 Honda Accord Lx non-vtec engine 2.2L
. This is my first honda, was a nissan owner for 6 years. I was wondering if I can take the head off and replacing it with a vtec head? If yes, which? Would I have any problems in doing this as far as fitting or any other problems I would encounter in doing this?
Second, I installed a set of Accel 3000 Thundersport Wires & Iridium Spark Plugs early this month. I recently noticed that the third plug was slightly popping out after a couple of hours of driving around? I wanted to know why this was happening? Is my timing messed up or something? I would pushing it back in, but it would some how happen all over again. Would this hurt my engine in any way? How can i prevent this from happening?

1) No, you can't just throw a VTEC head onto that block. The engine you have (the F22) is a single cam motor, the DOHC VTEC heads off B and H series engines are not compatible. You can however swap the entire drivetrain out and replace it (relatively straightforward swap) with an H22, which is the Prelude VTEC motor and will immediately give you a minimum of 60 more hp.
2) Are you saying the spark plug WIRE is popping off, or the plug itself?! If it's the wire check to make sure it's positively sealing down onto the plug (you should here a distinctive sound as it seats).
