Master Cylinder Noise
As previously mentioned in https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=373020 , I'm noticing a strange noise coming from my master cylinder when I brake lightly (usually when I'm pulling out of the driveway or in parking lots). Initially I thought it was only when the car was warming up (given that it's winter) but I've noticed once that it did it after I had driven the car several miles.
The noise in question is almost like a creak or whine similar to when your pads are wearing out. I thought it was my pads but the sound sometimes continues after I release the pedal. It's so intermittent that I don't want to drag it to the shop and then not be able to recreate the problem for them. What could be the problem? If it is the master cylinder, worst case, what could the cost be and is it easy to replace it?

I did change my brake fluid about 4-5 months ago and air could have possibly gotten in. But wouldn't I have noticed the sound immediately after? This just started last week.
