Default MAP Sensor

Hey I was just wondering how people delete their map sensors when doing a wire tuck? I just finished a wire tuck on my friends EF with a ZC in it! I just deleted the map sensor and hooked up the vacuum lines so that the car idled well! ran great for awhile while we were cruising the neighborhood when all of a sudden it would almost die on acceleration! So i played with the vacuum line a little more and got it to run smooth again till we shut the car down and tried to start it then it wouldnt start pulled the vacuum lines off and fired right up!

So my question is can i run the vacuum lines in a way that will work with out the MAP sensor or do i have to run the wires for it and hook up the vacuum lines to it again?

Thanks for your time!
