Default Manual steering rack swap

I have a 93 civic dx 4 door and i want to put a Manual steering rack from a hach or coupe. I think all 4 doors come with power steering, has eny one done that swap? Is it bolt on or are the mounting points not the same?

Manual steering racks have crappy ratios...just loop the system.

i looped mine on my integra with a breather filter T'd off. it's not that hard to turn the wheel and still has a good ratio.

I beleive that unless the car is being raced on a track ratio is a bunch of BS. I would rather have a maual rack than a looped power rack anyday.

only bad thing if you do go to a manual rack you need the bracket that holds the manaul rack on the right side being that a manul rack is thinner than a power rack.

or a pair of 25" gumballs with 7 psi in them. care to elaborate? i have a power rack in my eg, and would like to go manual, i need an inner rack end anyway, and would like to be able to steer the car a little easier.

what would you like me to explain? obviously you have driven with slicks, you know its not an easy task. When going around the pits or even getting off the line isnt fun with slicks I would take that over then giving a slight budge at over 100 mph and losing control just because I wanted to feel comfortable with the power rack.

What I did to mount my manual rack was I got the ES bushing for the power rack and doubled up the bushings(using the original and the ES bushing) till I found the correct bracket.

basically i was told that fitting a manual rack in a power chassis needed a crossmember also. i hate trying to drive with 25"s and a looped power rack. so if you could pm me specifics when you get a chance, thatd be awesome.
