Default Manual brake conversions...

Anyone on here ever remove their brake booster? I would like to for a lot of space, a little weight, and some aesthetic improvement. I can get everything mounted and such, but my question is, how are people attached the master cylinder to the brake pedal? Normally the booster attaches to the pedal, and it's rod actuates the master. Without the booster there, however, there is no way to attach the master. Is everyone just using an aftermarket master cylinder?

Thoughts?
