making torque & midrange power in b16
yea, i know, its near impossible, but is there some light. i dont want a motor that i have to rev the hell out of(8-9000rpm). in other words, i like to have a better mid-range with the same top end. anyway what kind of setup do you guys advise: i was thinking:
00-01 itr/ctr intake cam: i have seen dyno sheets of this adding 10-15 mid-range hp when tuned right with cams gears
can decide on header. i was under the impression that 4-1 were better for top end but i read something that said it was good for mid-top end. so the ? is :
4-1 or 4-2-1
also which collector should i run 2.25 or the JDM 2.5
p.s. a direct port n2o kit will be going in with a tuned 75 shot. possibly 100 when a get a new shortblock to build up on the side so i can abuse the hell out of the current motor.
and im not considering a gsr cuz i have a b18a that will be ls/vtec turbo & n2o(someday)

I think a header something like the comptech stepped 4-2-1 would be a really good one for you.
How long until you plan on having the LS/VTEC turbo ready? If its in the near future, don't waste your money on N/A stuff.

like a year to have the ls/vtec stuff ready. and thats probably not even turbod yet. thats just ls/vtec in running and tuned with the nitrous
