Default making 12v power work

im writing this because it seems alot of people i know have a hard time making the gadgets in their car work proporly, and with enough 12v power; first of all, having the best of both worlds (preformance, and show) is hard to do proporly, but not imposible, it can just get rather expensive... keeping on a modest budget and manny hours on ebay, im sure u can find everything at a half-decent price!

1.) lets start with somthing simple, the altinator, keep in mind the stock altinator in your car wasent desined to put out all the extra power your really looking for, so by swaping out the p.o.s. that came from the dealership and putting in a higher output altinator, thats going to solve alot of your anoyiance right there!

2.) take a good long look at the really big square thing that has a + and a - on it... thats your bat. and guess what! im more then willing to bet it sux just as much as that oem rated crap, so go ahead and swap that while your at it; by doing this not only are you ensureing a smooth transition from ac to a 12v source, but ensureing that the power will always be there!

3.) heres another simple one! buy a reputable grounding kit, spend the extra 100 bucks on the damn wires, and rest asured that your grounds arnt running loops around your whole electrical system, hell; u might be able to squeeze like 2 hp from it as well!

4.) use as manny wire addapters as possible, try to avoid splicing as much as you can, and use the shortest lenths in any wires as humanly possible; think of it like this, whats more tiring, running 20 feet, or 40 miles! you do the math!

5.) finaly, if your like me boosting 1100 + watts of ampage to a rediculiously loud migrane enducing system, buy a capacitor to keep the batt. from working more then it has too! this will alsow ensure your amps have enough power, and dont overheat

i know most people already know this basic stuff, but you wouldent belive how manny people dont, and how often i get asked about little crap involving this, so i hope this helps; taken all this into account, i garentee you willnot have anymore 12v problems unless your hooking up a damn city to it! good luck!
