I have a 2018 honda hrv. I change the oil and do routine maintenance myself. I follow the maintenance requirements as listed in the maintenance minder. I recently retired and I am not driving many miles (5000 per year). The owner's manual recommends changing oil yearly regardless of miles. The problem is it has been 1 year since my last oil change but my maintenance minder states 40% oil life remaining. Typically when the minder reaches a certain oil life (15%) it will show codes for maintenance due. My dealership said to change the oil and reset the maintenance minder. If I do this I will not know what other maintenace items (codes) would be due. I would appreciate any thoughts concerning this issue. Thank you.
