how do you remove the main bering caps after you removed the bolts? there awfuly stubburn. thanks

 

Try wobbling them slightly.

 

put the bolts back in the bearing caps.. but not deep enough to get to the block threads... push one bolt away from you and pull one toward you so they are stiff..

rock back and forth, using the bolts as "pry bars" so to speak.

then throw out the bolts.. because you should be replacing them anyway.

if that doesnt work, get some channel locks and be careful.
