Default Main Bearings

Well I took apart a GSR block, supposedly hasn't been disassembled before and I matched the code of the crank and the block to find the bearing color. The codes resulted in having Brown (C3), Black(D3), Green(C2), Black(D3), Blue(D4) bearings. When I took out the actually bearings, there were Brown, Black, Green, Black, GREEN bearings. So instead of a BLUE bearing from the code of the crank/block, there was a green bearing for Main Journal #5. I need to order a set of bearings from my dealership and as soon as they come in, I will plastigauge them to double check the clearances. Should I order Green or Blue bearings for Main Journal #5? I'm thinking about ordering blue because that was the original code of the block/crank. Let me know what you guys think, thanks.

You already need to buy one set of Greens for #3 so use that set to check #5 as well. Ordering accordingly.

anyone have experience ordering main & rod bearings from majestic...

is this correct?
A is Blue
B is Black
C is Brown
D is Green
E is Yellow
F is Pink
G is Red

& why do they have 2 different sets of std piston rings?
is there a difference between the 2?

also does anyone know whats included in their bottom end gasket kit?
this is for a b16a2 btw

It's only $16 for another set if the clearances aren't what you want.

Yes, that's the correct bearing order. Honda updates parts a lot so you'll often see a few different listings for the same item. There might be another reason though, so give them a call. The OEM gasket kits include every gasket and seal for the engine.
