lsvtec head alignment off?
my machine shop is trying to tell I should have him weld some holes on the head because they wont line up perfict with my block, is this true? it is a 99 b18b1 and 00b16 head. when I asked him what holes he said "some of the holes that the oil gose from the head to the block" so he wants to weld them up and redrill them to line up perficet.
I have never built an lsv but as I understand it you need to run an oil feed from the block (pressure sender location or sandwich adapter) to the head. You need to tap the head to screw in a fitting.
I have never heard of welding up holes lol.

If you got the dowels and the head gasket AFAIK you are ready to go. Check out this site - it goes through the build.

Unsure on where to pin the knock sensor? If your not using it just don't connect it.
