i drive my ls/vtec'd civic daily at least 40 miles and i am now passing the 20k mile mark since i rebuilt the engine. since adjusting my setup to pass the TX dyno emissions ( https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=770376 ) i now get ~29.5 mpg from mixed city/freeway driving which includes ~3-6 blasts to 8k rpm daily.

i'm loving my Tx legal ls/vtec

if my cars suspension wasnt in such bad shape i would get it down to the track, but it does have problems and fixing those problems is not a priority right now.

This is my setup:

Engine Block: ’90 Integra LS B18A1. Balanced LS Crank, LS Rods, CTR Pistons 12.4:1 Compression, AEM Crank Pulley, Toda flywheel.

Cylinder Head: JDM Ported ITR Head, ITR Cams, Titanium springs and retainers. ITR Intake Manifold, AEM Cam Gears, JDM ITR Header, ARP Head Studs, MSD Plug Wires.

Transmission: YS1 LSD and ACT stage 1 clutch and Star pressure plate.

Misc: AEM Short Ram Air Intake, Apex’I VAFC VTEC Controller.

I drove my car from AZ to NC (roughly 2200 miles) straight through going about 68MPH @ 4300 RPM, I got about 26 MPG. My LSVTEC Civic is my daily driver and I love it, its fast, realiable, and it gets me everywhere I need to go
