Default lsvtec back to gsr

ok i bought i head that is tapped for lsvtec and i want to put it on my gsr block. someone was telling me i could remove the allen key plug and still run the additional lsvtec line to get more oil in the head. Would this make any sense? would i benefit from this at all or i should remove the allen key nut and put the plug back in the head and just run it like factory?
