i am just concerned with having a lsd
i am not a horespower freak so it doesn't have to handle a thousand hp like a Quaife
i just want a lsd for better traction and response when i am turning

A Phanton Grip LSD does little more than lock the gears together on either side of the differential. Your honest best bet would be a Quaife (Helical Geared Torque Biasing Differential) but you probably don't want to spend that kind of money. Your best bet is to find a Type R tranny, the shorter gear ratios will help immensely in autocross and the Helical LSD (yep, just like the Quaife) does wonders for traction.
I don't really have accurate pricing on Type R trannies, I've seen them go for 600 in great shape, and I've seen them go for 1000 in horrible shape. Yes the B16 gearing is close, but the R still has the gearing advantage. If your looking to cut costs as much as possible just check ebay periodically, a Honda LSD shows up every now and then and usually doesn't cost more than a few hundred shipped.
