LSD backlash
Recently my mechanic installed an OEM LSD into another manual transmission which originally came with an open differential (non LSD) but the differential is making a humming noise. Do we have to check the gap between the gears i.e. the backlash and does anyone knows the tolerance. Also how do we gap the ring gear.
