ls will not start

Default ls will not start

ok here it is its a 88 dx hatchback with a ls motor and we were doing an engine swap and an auto to manual swap at the same time and i just got it wired last night and at first it wouldnt turn over then we conected all the wires from the old auto stuff in the center between the seats and got it to turn over and it is still spitting code 1 and code 6 does anyone have any idea what it may be

Code 1 - O2 sensor
Code 6 - TW sensor (water temp)

The TW sensor tells the ECU what temp the motor is at. Without that information, your aiur/fuel ratio could be too rich or lean for the engine to start. The O2 sensor would not be a cause for a no-start condition.

did u move the distributor around to see if it'll start? Maybe timing is way off; just give it a try.
