Default LS/vtec wiring issues

Hey guys-- I recently put my built motor-- and having some issues with the wiring.
Setup:
83mm LS
GSR Head
94civic EX auto engine harness

I guess the main thing is that even though the wiring harness has vtec, I guess my 98 LS chasis harness must not, because I'm throwing a couple codes, one of them being vtec sensor. Also, i'm throwing the knock sensor code (to be expected). I am also running the obd-2 to 1 jumper harness. soooo my question is-- where am I missing a connection to get my vtec to engage? I'm getting the car tuned this wednesday, so obviously this would help Thanks guys!

You need to wire in vtec solenoid, vtec oil pressure switch & knock.

You can simply bypass vtec pressure switch and knock via your chipped ecu/tuning.

Concerning wiring diagrams, you may find pinouts on http://phearable.net/tech or simply pay your tuner a few bucks to run the wires needed.

I would wire in the pressure switch though. Rather be safe than sorry.
