Default ls/vtec stupid technical ?'s

im trading this kid my crx for his ls/vtec ef hatch. the motor was out so i had to put it in. i also had to put in a new headgasket. the motor went in fine. the head came off fine. but wen the head was upside down for me to clean the chambers out the washers came out of the holes where the studs go. im pretty sure theyre the ARP studs.
the washers have a little ridge on the inside of them only on one side of the washer though. i was jsut wondering if that ridge goes down or up.

then to my surprise another little bitch fell out. its about 1 cm long. a cylinder. hollow maybe 3/4 cm in diameter. looks just like a (skateboard bearing spacer, if any of you skate). where the expletive does it go.

and just double checkin ... for the head studs.. i go 22lbs first..then 68lbs? and what order do i tighten them in. andd heres 2 pics of my little 2 hour swap and my baby in the background <3.

i know everybody on heres a comedian. if you can please keep the wisecracks to yourself. im 18. i put the b16 in my crx. i put this ls/vtec in the civic. i have **** tools. and i go to school 8-5 everyday at NJIT. if i had more time and money like you guys id be more organized and id do everything right (not outside with leaves everywhere lol).... the help is greatly appreciated, thank you very much.

Definitely gotta put the dowels in. They line up the head to the block.

thanks guys.... you think i should put the washers with the bevel side down? just something stupid i dont wanna mess up on... and yea thats where i thought that pin went cuz it was the only place that really let it fit right.(under the center cam cap)...

if its not that.. then wen i take the head off where would that pin go?

yea the car was built by IMP in clifton-i dont know if you are familiar with them. every single piece of this car was ghetto rigged. im just tryin to make some money off it.

gotta love snap on haha. the seals in the lift blew so i had to hook a pulley up to it. works just fine lol
