I was looking around for blocks today but couldnt really find a LS motor in good condition. there were quite a few GS motors....some guy told me that GS could be substituted instead of using LS block and get about the same amount of power out of it. is this true??

uh...sorry bro(sis?) . Yeah I think you might squeak by with the "GS" motor.

 

LS and GS motors are identical, what makes the model diff are the options on the car and not the motor! Good Luck!
