ls vtec oxygen sensor question

Default ls vtec oxygen sensor question

I have 96 civ dx with a ls vtec (90 b18a block-99 gsr head) I'm using my old dx harness for the swap with a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness and p28 ecu and my question is this. how many o2 sensors should I be using and have connected since i'm going obd2 to obd1...? i've looked and haven't had any success..your help is appreciated

Obd1 only uses 1 oxygen sensor. Obd2 uses 2. The one after the cat. Thats for emissions.

Your ECU can't throw a CEL for something it's not looking for.

so which one is considered the active primary, the one that is in my exhaust mani. or the one that is after the cat.?
