ls vtec over heating problem please help

Default ls vtec over heating problem please help

i got a ls vtec and it over heats with a thermostatic and does not with out. i have tried 2 thermostatics and it does the same with both. i have a new rad, and water pump. i get no heat out the vents and im bleeding the bleed vavle off. the water in the rad gets hot. could this be a faulty gauge or is some thing esle wrong. i got a autometer gauge.

what does the factory gauge say?
were either of the thermostats new?

the factory gauge was taken out and a oil press. gauge was custom made in its place. two of the thermo was new one was out a b16.
