I know there are probably posts on this every day, but I searched and didn't find anything to be like my problem. If someone has a problem with this post, please delete it.
So I've got a problem with my LS/VTEC idling correctly. The problem has slowly been getting worse over time, so I don't think it is electrical. The car ran great all summer with the build. I've checked for vacuum leaks and have unplugged sensors looking for any sign of change. I cleaned the FITV and that helped a lot, before that it idled at about 3k. There was a check engine light on prior to cleaning the FITV. However, currently there is no check engine light. The FITV was pretty dirty so should my next move be to clean the throttle body? Any input would be greatly appreciated. I'm just confused because I have no experience dealing with something like this.
The problem: The car starts at 2k, drops down to 700, then bounces up to 1500 and continues to idle at 1500. If I rev it, it goes up and drops down to 700 then bounces up to 1500 and stays at 1500.

Thanks,
check for vacuum leaks....check if your tb cable is sticky...also check your timing...and if you want poor some brake fluid down your vacuum hose line by your brake fluid container that goes to your intake manifold..then rev your motor...a **** load of smoke will come out your exhaust but is a simple way of cleaning your motor...
whats the motor setup and EMS? do you have a way to check the tps reading?
have you checked your grounds? checked the coolant? (this has caused me ahigh idle many times)
why not? i do it all the time...cleans all the shyt off my pistons....its fast easy and works all the time...
The video and your description of the problem don't match.
The tach rests at 1k. When you started the car, it dropped down to 1500. When you rev'd, it went up then dropped back to 1500. If the needle was unmolested, that would equal an idle of 1k which is expected for a cold motor. A warm motor would drop down to maybe 700-800rpm.
So based on the video, I don't see a problem.

you may just have a sticky throttle plate. you said you were going to clean it. have you? look at that after you've done what the others have suggested. carb cleaner and an old toothbrush does a nice job...

either sticking throttle cable or too tight and or you said you cleaned ur fitv? you sure it wasent your iacv? do you have coolant lines under ur tb that run to the fitv? if you do id say take it apart and screw the wax pellet back in.
check your iac valve it may be gummed up and keeping the idle from smoothing out like it should. also clean your tb its easy to do and when you have it off look to see that the plate closes all the way.
I'm thinking the same thing, if ur gauge starts off at 1000 from the gate then EVERYTHING...good idle or not is going to be off. From the sound of your car at idle I don't hear anything largely wrong with it..I'd address that gague first and see if it misbehaves then..as of now I see absolutely nothing wrong with your car.
