Default LS/VTEC HEADSTUDS?

I'm getting Headstuds for my LS/VTEC They moved the dowl pins to fit the LS block so I should get B18 LS Head studs or B16 Head Studs?!?

Ls Might be too long but will they work? Cause damn it money was already blown. if they are too long think a machine shop could lengthen the threads?

The dowels don't have anything to do with the headstuds. Just buy the GS-R ones.

I've already got these on the way

So they won't work with my LS/VTEC? Am I screwed?

Wow! You paid alot for those studs. You could order extra washers from ARP to make the longer studs work. The ARP washers are hardened steel, and will work fine for your application.

now, don't go and modify nothing, just buy new gsR head bolts, don't use old ones... and if your still going to purchase the ARP's, make sure you get the ones for the ACURA INTEGRA GSR "VTEC"... Ok, i hope that helps...

holla'

From the manufacturer of the studs. ARP.

The reason that LS studs won't work, is that the LS head has 4 (or 2, can't remember) raised sections for the head bolts. So 4 (or 2) are too long for a LS/VTEC. Deck height is the major reason for this, GSR, LS, b20, and ITR are all 7mm taller than B16's
