LS/vtec head
hey guys im new to this hybrid.im only 16 and i got my 97 Gs and man it doesnt have vtec what a bummer..so pops said how bout we make it a vtec...so i do a search on what i need to do to make it a vtec and cant find much...so id appreicaite it if someone can answer my questions.
1.does it work with a gs
2.what parts do i need
3.where can i buy them from and how much would the whole project cost....
dad is a mechanic so we will be doing the labor

1) Yes B18A or B18B
2) VTEC Head B16's B18C, VTEC ECU, B16 or GSR or R Tranny
3) Junk Yards; classifieds on HT; ebay; (Depends on price)
If you can get the head and ecu and tranny probably looking at about $1500 give or take... $500+ for head, $500+tranny,$300 ECU,$200 misc oil lines, clamps etc.
