ls/vtec conversion information please
My friend have a 92 integra rs and he wants to do a ls/vtec conversion but he doesn't know what he needs to change, so heres his questions:
-Could he use b16a cylinder head?
-What type of head gasket should he use?
-Should i have to change something in the engine block(including piston, rod and crankshaft) and in the tranny?
-Is it cheaper than only swap a complete b16a?
-Theres is other things to change?
Thanks and please excuse my english im from quebec so my english is not perfect.

yes the B16 head can be used. In fact, it is the most commonly used head for ls/vtec.
The LS gasket should do the trick.
The engine and tranny can remain stock.
yes. it is proably cheaper than doing a full B16 swap because you only have to get the head.
You will need the ECU from a B16 to control the VTEC operation.
