LS/Vtec build question
Hi, its been awhile since I have been intouch with the Honda scene but I still have some general knowlage about them and engines. I recently decided to help my buddy with his build and I needed someone to let me know what we could expect from the list of parts we are putting into it and what we need consider;
Stock Ls block with PR3 b16 head
Eagle rods with stock pr3 pistons
stock b16 intake manifold with slight port and polish, with 70+? mil. TB portmatched to IM, RC440 intectors,AEM fuel regulator, 4-1 Kteller Tri Y header.
Skunk 2 cams with ebay cam gears, dual valve springs, retainers, and valves.
would the OEM style piston be able to hold up to the power we could be making with this? we plan to tune it on chrome or somthing in the near futer and also could a stock ECU even handle running this thing? anything else we should be taking into consideration or be concentrated on?

that is a very good thread and can tell you about what is needed on the tuning and such for the ECU.
