hey i have all the things to do the the ls/vtec but do you realy have to change eny thing is the bottom end on myb18a for the b16a valves?

There shouldn't be any issues with the valves, the reason you should change the bottom end is to balance the crank, install some higher compression pistons, and either shotpeen the stock rods or install stronger ones.
