Default ls/vtec boosted piston quest.

im ls/vtec right now and i am going to boost, but i want to upgrade my pistons, is it a bad idea to run usdm itr pistons with about 7lbs. of boost. im going to arp the rods etc. please help...ive heard you can do it but will it be reliable.

well are you trying to run 7 pounds on a t3 or 7 pounds on a gt45r? not the same thing
but anyways power wise i would say mid 200 is safe

i was planning on using it on do about 7lbs. on a t3 nothing to crazy, yeah i should of done the rod bolts just money was tight my car had just got stolen you no how it is lol.....but as soon as i do the pistons im going to have the rod bolts put on. if i use the itr pistons is it recommended on changing rods or are the b18 rods okay....

if you are going to use b series rods use the ls ones but its better to go forged internals....both will be ok if you use a t3

Agreed. Just be conservative on your timing so you don't crack those honda "glass" ringlands.
