LS VTEC Automatic Trans.? PLEASE READ LS VTEC PEEEPS.........

I have a 95civic just laying around (well sometimes my lil bro drives it)and I was thinking of dropping in a manual tranny and adding a b16 but ...it would just be too much work . So my theory is since there are so many LS Automatic Engines why dont I just get a LS Engine and just swap heads with a B16 and have a LS Vtec automatic. Has anyone came across this theory. Respones please????
I wouldn't do it... The manual LS tranny has gears that are too long for LSVTEC or any other motor that doesn't have 600+whp.. The LS auto 4-speed trannies gears are even worse... If you do it I would just swap in a manual tranny... It's really no that hard.... I just don't think that you would even be able to tell that it had an LSVTEC in it... Power wise that is... Good Luck on whatever you chose to do......
Yo, that's what i wanted to do but too afraid to ask cuz peeps be flaming bout autos.. i have a 95 integra ls auto-magic and it does low 16s in the 1/4 mile with just cai and a performance chip.. I'm gonna get a high-stall torque converter and maybe a GSR head or a custom Turbo kit..

ive got a friend that has a 95 ls auto teg with a gs-r engine. (its his wifes) i got him a jdm auto gs-r computer (no dohc vtec autos here in the states) and its pretty quick. i also got him the auto gs-r tranny, and i think hes gonna swap that in too. its a cool *** setup i think (although i would never have an auto) but getting this computer is something to think about, instead of using an rpm activated switch for vtec, plus you get the gs-r fuel curves and rev limiter. just something to think about...

Dont care what other people are gonna say. I'm going LS/Vtec Auto and probably going to turbo it later in the future. Good luck with which ever way your going to go.

Another options that i've look into was getting an auto vtec trans from japan....I've seen them go for $150 and the gears would be better then the usdm ls auto trans...Match that up with an ls/vtec and it'll be a nice daily driven setup..
I've seen them on thepartstrader and hondaclassified a couple of time...My friend also import motor from japan and he had two he was selling...I'll contact him to see if he still have it and let everyone know..thanks..
