Default LS vs GSR Pistons ?? Any Difference in these?

I have a set of SRP Flat Top Pistons that i was going to use in my GSR Block but am backing out of the project and a buddy wants to use them in his LS Bottom end. He heard somewhere that the wrist pins would cause a problem, but i dont see why? Please let me know if you see any reason for a problem with these GSR Pistons in an LS.

Piston Specs
Bore 3.199
Stroke 3.433
Rod Lenth 5.429
Comp Height 1.181

Pin Part # 827-2250-15-51S

Thanks Guys..

I have a set of pistons I bought from a friend that were intended for his LS.
They are also from SRP and have the pin# 827-2250-15-51S. The locks # is 812-042-CS.
Im pretty sure they are the same between the engines since I hear about CTR pistons in LS and GSR engines.

BTW-My SRP pistons also have a comp. height of 1.181". My friend told me they were supposed to be around 10.5 compression in his LS.Can you tell me what CR your pistons are? I know yours are oversized and for the smaller headed GSR but if you can verify YOUR compression ratio,Ill be able to find out mine. Thanks!

mine are either 9.0 or 9.5..... but if i recall they are 9.0 -- it's been nearly a year since i bought them. It should be an additional .3 tenths more compression in your LS vs. my GSR if im not mistaken.

I looked at je/srp's website and they have all the specs for each piston there. If you look there, you can linie up all your specs and it will tell u the comp. ratio of ur piston..

Good luck and thanks for the info.
