Can I use low CR GSR pistons in an LS?
I have a set of SRP pistons (I don't know the part number off hand) but according to the specs online, they are the same size and bore as the LS ones, except they are for a GSR. They also look exactly the same.
Can I use these in my Turbo LS buildup? I would think that the only possible difference would be in the valves. For example, you can use GSR pistons in an LS, but not LS pistons in a GSR. Am I on crack? Heh. Thanks.

yes, just make sure valve reliefs are sufficient and that method of lowering CR is by dishing piston top and raising the wrist pin height to about the first ring. what is the SRP part number? make sure these diameter is the same you want factory tolerance on SRP as these do not exand as much a JE, SRP is not a cold slapper piston like JE
