Default LS/VTEC

ok I have and ls/vtec motor in my garage..... I want to get more power out of it and was wondering, could I put the type r pistons in without any boring or sleeving?? please let me know so I can go a head and order them..... thanks!!

Assuming the cylinder walls are in good condition, simply honing them should be sufficient.

yes ITR pistons will fit your block. if you want more compression you can go with the CTR pistons.

I would order CTR pistons due to the higher compressions thats what i had in my ls vtec set up. with ARP rod bolts. itr is ok but why not add acouple of more dollars and get higher compression ones... also dont forget the ITR or GSR or CTR OIL PUMP... : ) good luck.

if you're going to use pct pistons it would be a good idea to have a good tuner, also it would be prefered to use 93 octane if its available to you.
