my 3rd gear on my LS cable tranny (90 teg) is really grinding im wondering if i change my clutch and flywheel will the grind go away? or do i jus have to get a new transmission? theres a race event on april 1st 2nd i want to run my car but i know i wont be consistant with this bad grind.. when i force it to 3rd it jus doesnt wanna go in sometimes..

 

your 3rd gear syncro is most likley going out try changing you tranny fluid and using GM Syncro Mesh its kinda of a band-aid fix but it works for a while for some people...
