LS swap no start
ok so i have a 90 civic hatch which i put an ls motor in. its all OBD0 and i converted to mpfi. wiring for mpfi is good, triple checked it. it gets fuel but no spark. i tried a known working distributor and ecu and still nothing. no codes are being thrown, but after about 5 seconds of cranking the check engine light comes on, but the ecu light is solid, not flashing codes or anything. grounds are all good, just no spark. could it be a shorted out wire you guys think? the car itself has about 225,xxx miles on it so thats a good amount of where on the engine harness id think. thanks for the help
Does the check engine light work? Does it come on for 2 seconds and then go out and stay out does it stay light solid from the minute you turn th key. Or does it not come on at all? Are there any stored trouble codes? Did you paint the head/ block/ dizzy? Engine bay grounding points? Is the engine well grounded? DO you have power at the black/ yellow with the key in the on/run position? Is the 8 pin connector on the passenger shock tower well connected ?

the light works yes. it goes on for 2 seconds like it should and goes off, then after cranking it for about 5 seconds the light at the ecu goes solid with no blinking. no codes thrown. grounds are all cleaned and on bare metal, no paint. i guess my option is to check wires for a break cuz ive pretty much covered everything else
ok so still need help with this :/ i just checked all my mpfi wiring with a multimeter and its all good. all wires to dizzy are getting power, but ecu still keeping a solid light. got a new working ecu and it does the exact same thing. is there somehow the ecu could be shorting out? any grounds to the ecu i could check? please help...
