LS motor problem need help
I was recent posted this problem a while back, I though the problem was fixed, but now it come back again. So here is the problem:
My car is a 92 Civic shell with 96 LS swap. The problem is that the car would die out when I drove it for about 20-30 miles. I notice this because I took it to track the past weekend and the car would run from my house to the track which is approximately 20 miles and die right when I get to my destination, I let it cool for about an hour and the car would make a long trip back home and die out just less than a mile away from my house. After changing fuel pump, main relay, and do general tune up, and search on H-T, I've narrow it down to an ignitor. I thought the LS ignitor was bad, so I swapped with a 92 DX ignitor and install MSD 8.5mm wires, Cap, Blaster coil, SCI-L, it would run longer but not completely reliable
. It really hard for me to find the problem because the car would start and die out at any time and sometime it would start right afterward. Anyone here have a solution to my problem? any help or comment would greatly appreciated. Thanks
BTW: I try take out the MSD coil, Cap, and SCI-L, it seem like the car wouldn't run that long as oppose to when I have all the MSD on, but when the car die out, I can start it up right back.
Have anyone in here try eliminate the stock ignitor with their SCI-L box?

dying out huh? have u thought of the fuel filter? try replacing that and see if it helps. also, check your o2 sensor wiring. they can (if fried or not working properly) royally fack your car up and make it run really wierd. Like sputtering, limp mode, bogging heavily etc...those are also caused be the fuel filter in some instances.
Recap = fuel filter.
Recap = fuel filter.
The car only shut off when it run for long period of time, in other words, when the engine gets hot. I'll try change fuel filter and check O2 see if anything. Thanks for the help
