Default LS head on GSR block

Would there be any problems putting a b18a head on my b17a block? I'm sending my head off to port flow tomorrow and I'd like to get the engine back in the car and running. I've never had my LS engine taken apart so I don't really know how feasible it is.

Hrm...

Well you're probably going to have to drill out a couple of dowel holes on the head, and you may need to tap and plug a oil hole on the block.

You're basically talking about a reverse LS/VTEC... So moving the dowels is still an issue, as is the oil passages. Naturally you'll need to replace the head gasket, etc.

I wouldn't recommend it...either try and find a B16 head or something.
