Default LS crank pulley on type r?

The engine is a 96-97 spec jdm itr from HMotors.

Ok well when the clowns who swapped my car did so, they decided to take off the crank pulley and install the(what I believe to be) LS crank pulley from my other engine. Now I've put about 6,000 miles on the engine and its running like a champ but I was wondering if it can do damage using the LS pulley? I know what you're thinking(just put the type r pulley back on to be safe), but the idiots cracked it getting it off. Are they the same pulleys? Do you think I need to balance it?

Please some input would be awesome as the engine is out of the car right now and I would like to know before I put in in another car.
