Default LS crank in GS-R Question about girdle

I've searched, I cannot seem to find any straight forward answer's about this. I have a gs-r block and I'm using an LS crank. My question is can the gs-r girdle be used? Or does it need to be modified? Is there a company that makes one that's note worthy? Thanks!

Yes it will work without modification. Need to measure for proper bearings though. Also will need to block off the gsr oil squiters and use ls rods and pistons.

Awesome thank you. I have the GE oil blocks, Eagle LS rods and the B18a/b king bearings. That should be everything I need right?

Main bearings are the same size... check fitment and change as necessary. The rod bearings will have to be changed because LS rod bearings are wider than the GSR rod bearings.

In theory, yes. But it would be best to plastigauge your bearing clearances to find out exactly what size you need.

Yes we will do that. This is my first build I have lots to learn. My friend is helping me he knows worlds more than I do. I just want to make sure I have all the right parts come game day.
I had to put the mfactory lsd on hold this weekend because I forgot to order the diff bearings.. I'd hate to get to putting my motor together on his time off to be held up for having the wrong parts.
I appreciate all the advice and replies!
