Default Lowering my civic

My question is about lowering my 2000 Honda Civic LX. I have a chance to buy some new H&R springs, 1.75 fronts and 1.5 rears, at a good deal. I know a good alignment shop but do I need the camber kit? Some shops tell me I do and others don't. What sort of steps do i need to take to prevent longe term problems?

If you don't like buying new tires every 5000mi. get a camber kit.

that is true but you may last a little longer than 5k miles.... i would invest in a camber kit and have it installed at the same time as the springs to save a little labor and time.... but you could get away with a 1.5 inch drop but not the best idea...

lowering a car is prett simple, you might be able to do it yourself. I would definately recommend gettin a camber kit. it will save you big $$ in the long run, especially if you have 17's or something
