low RMP engine troubles
I have a 93 JDM B16A 2nd gen. the car has been off the road since Nov. I started it up, let it get up to temp. under 3.5-4K rpm the engine is really rough. like it has a miss (runs like a carborated car with a dirty carb) after the RMPs get up over 4K or so it smooths out. there is no check engine light or anything. there does seem to be some weirdness with the FPR, ita an AEM rail and regulator. the pressure was high, like 50 psi or so, so I backed it off, with the adjuster almost all the way out, the pressure is still a little over 40 psi, should I replace, or at least have the FPR tested? would this cause the type of problem I have? TIA for any advise you can give me

I havent compresion tested, (I dont have a tested) but I get 20 inches of vac. on the boost gauge at Idle, and at higher rmp it runs fine, I drove it up the street, and as soon as I get over 4K it comes alive, plenty of power, and starts boosting, but as soon as I shift its back to spit and sputter... I think I am going to send the fuel pressure reg. to AEM and have it checked out, it seems like its not enough fuel. like I said earlier the pressure was really high, like 50psi at idle, and I had to back the adjuster almost all the way out to get it down, and even all the way out its still like 42psi... any Idea what else I should check??
