Default low idle when hot

Why is it that, when its really hot and im driving for awhile, the idle gets low. Like 400-500. Something else is that when I press the brakes a few times the idle goes up as if i were stepping on the gas...Whats going on?

500 is pretty low. normal is 750 +/- 50. i idle around 810 +/- 10.

i say adjust the idle screw when warm. should be kosher after that.

Yeah, take out the black cup-looking thing and replace the copper washers with the ones that come with the new filter. Idle can appear to be up to almost 100rpm different depending on the driver's height. Gauge overlays can also make idle rpm look different.
