Default loss of power and overheating

I've lost power with my b16a and started over heating. Was driving one day went from 5th to 4th and it back fired and just like that I lost power.. stopped and started again and was fine. Few days later same thing happened to me on take off.. had no power then began to over heat. Motor revs up but it's like something is holding me back. I'm stumped..

But water pump is working
Drifts fine in nutral
And shifts fine

Plz help what could cause this

overheating is usually either
radiator fan
radiator blockage
gasket leaks, doesn't need to leak outside.
Does radiator coolant show signs of oil contamination?
Does coolant in the spare coolant tank reduce after a while?

Aslo, wrong section.
