Default Are longer gears better for b20vtec??

Ive got the option to get gsr gearing. Right now ive got a USDM ITR tranny. I can get gsr gears, and keep my lsd. Im curious as to whether my car would be quicker with the longer gearing of the gsr since i have so much torque. I know i would definatly like being able to stay in gear longer, but i want to know how it would affect my times at the drag strip. I started thinking about this when i realized that the gearing in the h22's is about the same as a gsr gearing. I know that the torque and power output is more like that of an stock h22 than any stock integra motor so it looks like the more torque you have the longer gears are better. Also, most muscle cars have very long gears, when compared to hondas, and they have loads of torque, so that proves what im thinking about needing longer gears for motors with more torque. Correct me if im wrong. Thanks for any info.
