This is probably pretty simple-
What are the possible causes for white smoke from the exhaust ONLY at 3500 rpm and above.
89 Prelude SI 2.0. Freshly rebuilt head. 128k mile. No other symptoms aside from a minor oil leak at the main seal.

water can only enter your engine via the Head gasket leaking, cracked head, cracked block or your fast idle valve leaking coolant into your exhaust.
Another cause of white smoke is, running rich... Might take a look at your fuel pressure regulator. Mine will do it, if I set the fuel pressue up just a "tad" too high... hehehe

This car has a brand new head/valve train. Think there could be a problem there? I've also noticed an oil leak, but I can't tell where it's coming from yet.
SOunds like trouble...
It only smokes when it's above about 3500 RPM.
