I recently fix my check light from throwing a code 22 but now i wondering would this effect my dyno numbers.?? I dyno on motor with all bolt ons and itr cams at 156 hp which was very low. could this code been the reason why i was getting such low numbers? also on the dyno it did not throw any lights but still when i check the code it would blink code 22

 

im assuming you have a GSR engine.

those numbers are not that low for a close to stock GSR engine. it would be nice if you told us the mods tho.

but a code 22 is the vtec pressure solenoid valve, it could affect vtec not working but there is no way you put down nearly 160 WHP without vtec. it would be close to 120 without it.
