Default lifting a wheel while driving bad?---in an lsd equipped car?

when i had my lsd installed in my dc2,
the installer/shop told me, when/if i roadrace, to try to lifting one of the front wheels--
why is this bad?

if i enter a turn, hit the (bumpy) part,
and say the inside wheel lifts--what would be wrong?

if one wheel is in the air, alll the traction goes to the one on the ground?

thanks

i've heard that it will put all the power to the wheel on the ground and therefore damage the lsd and perhaps the axle.
