leakdown test??? need it explained.
I need a leakdown test done to determine where my problem is (valves or rings) and I had a shop tell me it would cost $112 for them to do it. Is that a fair price? How hard is this to do and how much are the tools to do it. I would rather put the money torward tools and the experience doing it myself if I can. thanks...

The tool alone is about double that from Snap-on. The test itself I dont believe is that complicated.
