i have a friend who broke his ecu doing this, and I just want to know. I have a p28 and want to remove the ecu from the car overnight so thieve don't jack it, is there a trick to it, or just push in one side w/ that clip and pull out?

sorry, this is almost as bad as asking how to open a door

 

Better to be safe and ask if your not sure than to wreck the ecu, just push the tab and pull on the plug, if it has never been apart you might have to wiggle it a little.
