KYB AGX Install/bushings...?
I just got my kyb agx for my 93 Civic coupe and was wondering what is the most I should pay for getting them installed. Any one in Northern VA want to do it for me.....when installing the front and rear shocks do u remove the control arms.....because i might as well get energy suspension bushings cause mine are torn in the rear control arm...
just rent a spring compressor and do it urself. should take less than a day.
it's not necessary to remove the control arms. for the front you can just remove the bolt holding the fork to the arm and for the rears you unbolt the strut from the lower arm. the rear lower arms can be a bitch tho. i've seen many bolts break and seize inside the bushing themselves. good luck

i heard that es bushings can be pushed in, is this correct? does anyone know? also, are es bushings good to use in the lca where the strut goes? i have the famous problem of the bolt siezed up in the bushing. thanks!
Honda control arm bushings suck. They are incredibly whorish to deal with in any civil manner (or so is my experience). Well, it's not really the bushings, but the horrible bolts in them, which eat them when they are removed... I would say there is a good chance that you will end up replacing the rear LCA bushings, at least. The only problem is that it requires a PRESS to press them in and out, so it is going to cost you more to have them put it. I don't think it will be a freebie.
